Most of the time, a quick glance at the title commitment assures you that there’s nothing unusual so the closing should be on track. But sometimes, you’re not sure about the items you see on the Requirements section of the commitment.

Join Homestead Title as we take a look at title commitments and some of the more complicated requirements that might be seen on your next title commitment. This 2-hour interactive class will look at such topics as powers of attorney, probate, conveying to and from entities, lis pendens, and bankruptcy. This class has been approved for 2 CE hours from the Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies (DORA) Division of Real Estate. After registering you will receive a confirmation with a link to join sent from the training department at Westcor Land Title Insurance Company. In order to receive credit, each attendee must access the session through their own link, must stay for the entire session, and must answer poll questions throughout the class.
