*These courses are each 1 hour CE credit courses that will be held back to back for 2 CE credits total*

Wet Basement Concerns and Solutions – 1 hour CE credit course

The course discusses how common moisture in a basement can be, even in Colorado, and especially in the context of recent flooding. Expectations for a dry basement can sometimes be unrealistic.  It describes possible corrective actions as well as frequent causes of the problem. Also, the course discusses the issues that occur with moisture and mold in the structural floors in the basements of homes as well as crawl spaces here in Colorado.

Radon – Misperceptions and Reality – 1 hour CE credit course

This course is intended to increase your knowledge of radon, health risks, testing and remediation. We discuss where it comes from, its effect on health, and the latest testing techniques as well as misperceptions about radon in homes. Is there radon in a home with no basement?  Or just built on a slab?  When should we test? We also discuss how radon mitigation works and its long term function as well as the new licensing law in Colorado.
